Great looking in great shape CL offset wing stunt sport trainer w/ FAI decal. N38249 is reference to a 1941 Piper J-5A Cub Cruiser. Assuming the builder had seen it or knew the owner and just liked the number. Obviously the N is missing. Nicely crafted. Wood putty appears to been used when created and not later on as some sort repair. Back wing tilts down slightly ( not warped) it seems to be positioned that way. The mechanisms in cockpit is functional. Little piece of brass flap is sticking slightly up. Weighs approx 8.8oz Please send any questions. Next day shipping.
