About the Yamaha RZV500R The Yamaha RZV500R was announced at the Tokyo Motor Show 1983 with specs that basically made it equivalent to the road racer YZR500. Inheriting its lightweight, compact design from the YZR, the RZV featured a 500cc 2-stroke water-cooled V4 engine capable of 64hp and 230km/h top speed, which provided performance on the level of a liter-class motorcycle. The RZV500R opened a new era of 2-stroke sports bikes and was invested with Yamaha’s significant knowledge of both 2-stroke engines and racing. Key Features 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 172mm, width: 56mm, height: 97mm. Includes a newly added B5-size double-sided pamphlet with color photos for painting reference. Features realistic depictions of details such as a 500cc.
